Barrie police appeal for help to locate missing woman

Police are concerned for her safety as she requires medication for a pre-existing medical condition and may be confused and disoriented

Barrie Police Service is currently asking for the public's assistance in locating 61-year-old female Carolyn Pringle, who went missing from her residence on Peel Street, in the City of Barrie, sometime before 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2017. 

Police are concerned for her safety as Carolyn requires medication for a pre-existing medical condition and may be confused and disoriented. It is out of the norm for Carolyn to leave her residence for this length of time, at night, or off her usual route. She was last seen walking northbound on Peel Street. 

Carolyn is described as:

  • 4'8", 95lbs
  • Slight, small build
  • Medium brown hair, in ponytail
  • Wearing blue jacket, light blue track pants, white top, and dark button up cardigan
