Ontario Provincial Police are looking for a vehicle in connection with a fail-to-remain investigation in Springwater Township on Thursday.

Huronia West OPP officers are looking for the public's help following a fail-to-remain crash yesterday in Springwater Township.

Around 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5, officers responded to the collision on Flos Road 7, near County Road 27, near Elmvale.

Police say a tow truck was recovering a vehicle from the roadway when a late-model Ford Bronco with distinct oversized white rims, tires, white wheel-well extensions, and a black soft top passed the tow truck unsafely and struck the tow-truck operator.

The tow-truck driver was not injured, but the suspect vehicle fled the scene, police say.
