A Barrie woman was taken to hospital after a car struck a Grove Street East dental office Saturday afternoon.
City police say officers were called to Eastview Dental at 4:42 p.m. on Nov. 23 and found a silver Mercedes-Benz sedan had crashed into the building, breaking its front window.
“They had to bring in a company to board it up and secure it until the glass was repaired,” said Peter Leon, communications co-ordinator with Barrie police.
A 75-year-old woman, the car’s driver, was taken to Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries, police say.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
No charges had been laid as of Monday morning.
