Bradford collision sends five to hospital

BRADFORD - Five people were sent to hospital following a head-on collision in Bradford.

On Monday, June 4, 2018 around 8:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of County Road 4 north of the 8th Line for a report of a motor vehicle collision involving injuries.

Preliminary investigation suggests that a northbound vehicle crossed the centre line and struck a southbound vehicle. The Bradford West Gwillimbury Fire Department had to extricate the people inside the northbound vehicle.

The 20-year-old Bradford man who was driving the northbound vehicle and his front seat passenger were sent to a hospital in Toronto.

The 36-year old Innisfil woman who was driving the southbound vehicle was sent to a local hospital along with her two passengers.

The investigation is continuing.
