On Saturday, June 10, at approximately 2:30 p.m., a local taxi company contacted Midland Police Service reporting an adult male fled from the taxi failing to pay his fare.
The Midland man was transported from Port McNicoll to a rear entrance of a downtown store. The male told the taxi driver he would return to pay for his fare but failed to do so.
Police investigation revealed the male is on two separate probation orders to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
Cody Terrence Blain, 24 years of age from Midland, ON is charged with:
- CC 393(3) Transportation Fraud
- CC 733.1(1) Fail to Comply with Probation Order
- CC 733.1(1) Fail to Comply with Probation Order
He is scheduled to appear in court on July 13, 2017.
