MCDOUGALL TOWNSHIP - On March 24, 2018 at almost midnight, a member of the West Parry Sound Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a possible impaired driver on Highway 124 in McDougall Township, Ontario.
The officer located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. The officer spoke with the driver and determined that he had consumed alcohol.
As a result of the investigation, Frank Cybulski, 58 years of age from Springwater Township, Ontario was arrested and charged with Operate motor vehicle - over 80 mg, contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code.
He was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound, Ontario on April 5, 2018.
The OPP reminds motorists that there is no safe amount of drug or alcohol consumption when driving. Anyone who suspects a driver that is driving while impaired is urged to call police by dialing 9-1-1 immediately.
