GEORGIAN BAY & TAY TOWNSHIP, ONT. - On Mar. 16, 2017, members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) the Central Region Traffic Unit of the OPP and Ministry of Transport Commercial Motor Vehicle Inspectors conducted a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) inspection blitz on sections of Hwy #400 and Hwy #12 in the above Townships.

In total 15 commercial motor vehicles were inspected with six commercial motor vehicles being taken out of service and a total of 16 commercial motor vehicle related charges were issued.
