INNISFIL - On Tuesday, Mar. 14, 2017, just after 4 p.m., a South Simcoe Police constable happened upon a collision that had just occurred on Yonge Street just south of Churchill.
A northbound pickup truck was passing another vehicle when it collided with a car going southbound.
The driver of the car was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the truck, a 51-year-old Innisfil man, was charged with careless driving. Yonge Street was closed for a short period of time while officers investigated.
