ORILLIA - On Monday, June 21, 2017 the Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision at a local business on West Street North in the City of Orillia.

At approximately 8:15 a.m. police were dispatched to an Orillia area business on West Street North with reports of a motor vehicle collision. Police arrived and observed a vehicle had struck the business causing substantial damage to the store. No one was hurt in this incident.

As a result of the investigation police charged the driver of the motor vehicle. A 48-year-old Orillia man with Careless Driving contrary to Section 130 of the Highway Traffic Act.
