Public intoxication, calls for service

The following are news releases issued by the South Simcoe Police Service:

On Thursday, March 22, 2018 just before 2 p.m., a concerned citizen called Simcoe County Paramedics to attend at a restaurant parking lot on Holland St. West. The caller had located an unresponsive male in the parking lot. Paramedics assessed the man and determined he was not in medical distress. When police officers arrived, they arrested the 39-year-old Bradford man for intoxication. He was taken to the South Division and held until sober.

On Thursday, March 22, 2018 South Simcoe Police Service responded to 67 calls for service.
