ORO-MEDONTE – Here is an update for the Festive RIDE statistics from Barrie OPP:
Number of Warn Range suspensions (3, 7, 30 day suspensions) – 4
Number of Persons Charged with Impaired, Over 80 or Refuse Breath Sample – 5
Number of RIDE Initiatives – 43
The public is advised if they see a suspected impaired driver call 911 on their hands free to report vehicle description and direction of travel.
This year’s Festive RIDE Program began on November 21, 2016 and continues until January 7, 2017
