INNISFIL - On Thursday, March 22, 2018 around 11 p.m., a South Simcoe Police Service officer driving southbound on Maple Rd. in Innisfil observed a vehicle in the ditch. The officer pulled over and was approached by the driver. An odour of alcohol was detected and the officer requested a test with an approved screening device.
A 39-year-old man from Innisfil was placed under arrest and taken to the North Division for testing. The man was charged with impaired care and control and drive over 80 mg.
