A motorcycle crash Wednesday in the city’s south end has sent one person to hospital with serious injuries.
Shortly after 3 p.m., a motorcycle driver was taken to a local hospital after a collision at Mapleview Drive and Veterans Drive.
Barrie police communications co-ordinator Peter Leon told BarrieToday the investigation is ongoing and that Mapleview Drive East between Reid Drive and Veterans Drive is closed.
“The injuries are presumed to be serious. I haven’t received more information yet, but I do know Barrie fire crews were working on the driver at the scene,” said Leon.
