A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision Thursday morning in Essa Township.
At about 9 a.m., emergency crews responded to a crash involving a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle on County Road 56. The motorcyclist was airlifted to a Toronto-area hospital with “suspected life-altering injuries,” Nottawasaga OPP said in a news release.
County Road 56 was closed between 25th Sideroad and 30th Sideroad for the investigation. The road has partially reopened and will fully reopen soon, police said.
