On Friday, February 24, just after 11:30 p.m. Police responded to an alarm at Cabela's located in Park Place, in the City of Barrie.
A quick entry was gained after the suspects used a white Dodge Ram pick-up truck to smash through the back receiving door. Once inside the building the suspects removed eight (8) rifles from a display shelf, loaded them into their vehicle and fled the area. The pick-up truck sustained damage to the tailgate and a broken back window.
Investigators have recently received new leads on suspect information and are requesting assistance from the public. Investigators can now confirm the embossed serial numbers on each rifle; and are requesting anyone who may have come into possession of the following rifle(s) to contact police immediately.
The stolen firearms are described as;

- Mossberg MVP Scout - MPR099031
- Mossberg Patriot - MPR095190
- Mossberg Patriot - MVP092531
- Mossberg Patriot - MPR009209
- Mossberg MVP VARMINT - MVP084289
- Mossberg Patriot - MPR124502
