Provincial police have released a surveillance image of a man wanted in connection to an alleged cellphone theft in Angus recently. 

Nottawasaga OPP hopes someone in the community can help identify the man. 

On Oct. 31, officers were dispatched to a theft call at 23 Brentwood Rd.

Police say the preliminary investigation indicates that shortly before noon the caller advised that a man had gone into his store with another female. While he was distracted, speaking with the woman, the man was seen on video taking his cellphone, placing it into his pant pocket and exiting the store, according to an OPP news release.
