Provincial police are investigating an alleged road-rage incident involving a firearm that occurred earlier this year in Essa Township.

Shortly after 3 p.m. on Feb. 20, Nottawasaga OPP and Barrie city police responded to an incident that took place on County Road 90, just west of Barrie.

Police received a complaint about a white Infinity SUV driving erratically and at high rates of speed.

The occupants of the SUV are reported to have brandished a firearm at the victim, according to OPP.

Police are hoping members of the public can help identify and locate the three suspects.

All are described as wearing darker clothing, with tan complexions and between the ages of 18 and 25 years old.

Police say the driver of the vehicle was wearing a dark-coloured balaclava with sunglasses, while the passenger appeared to have short brown hair.

Nottawasaga OPP say they have located the subject vehicle and have identified it as stolen. It has been seized.

The three males remain outstanding.
