Crime Stoppers says Ford Mustang stolen Sept. 3, later involved in Barrie Road shooting incident

Provincial police have released images of a person and a vehicle in relation to a shooting earlier this month on Barrie Road in Orillia.

On Sept. 3, shortly after 9:15 p.m., police responded to a report of a firearm being discharged on Barrie Road, near Dunlop Street.

On Wednesday, Crime Stoppers of Simcoe-Dufferin-Muskoka posted images to its X (formerly Twitter) account, noting Orillia OPP is seeking information about a 2007 black Ford Mustang and looking to identify the person shown.

The Mustang was stolen Sept. 3 and later involved in the incident.
