OPP seeks information, video following mischief calls in Thornton

Provincial police are looking for video surveillance and more information following several acts of mischief on the weekend in Thornton. 

Nottawasaga OPP say the incidents happened overnight Saturday in the Essa Township village. 

The suspects are described as a group of four white males, some of whom were not wearing shirts, and appeared to be roughly 18 years of age.

Officers were told the four suspects were damaging property and banging on doors in the area of the Cunningham Drive subdivision, Meadowland Boulevard, McKeown Street, Stewart Crescent, Barrie Street, and the Brykam Road subdivision.

Police say officers responded to the area, but were unable to locate any suspects.

Nottawasaga OPP is asking anyone living in the area with video doorbell cameras or home exterior surveillance to review the footage to see if anyone matching the description. Anyone with information can call Nottawasaga OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
