An Oro-Medonte woman has been charged after a car hit a tree Saturday morning in Orillia.
Orillia OPP officers responded at 8 a.m. to a report of a vehicle that struck a tree in a parking lot at West and King streets. Police were told the lone occupant was possibly impaired, Orillia OPP stated in a news release.
Alexandria Aessie, 28, has been charged with operation while impaired (alcohol and drug), possession of a Schedule 1 substance (cocaine) and driving while under suspension. She was held for a bail hearing.
