A female pedestrian suffered non-life-threatening injuries after a collision involving a Barrie police vehicle Saturday morning.
Peter Leon, communications co-ordinator with the Barrie Police Service, said the collision took place at 8:01 a.m. at the corner of Essa Road and Gowan Street.
The pedestrian was taken by paramedics to Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie.
The police traffic unit was on scene investigating the collision.
Leon said the investigation is ongoing and no further details are available at this time.
