Police ask for help to identify theft suspect

The Barrie Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a suspect following a theft, which occurred at the Source, located at 33 Mapleview Drive, West, in the City of Barrie.

On Friday, March 23, 2018, just before 2 p.m. the suspect had been observed by an employee eyeing several Bluetooth Speakers that had been on display. When suspect assumed he was not being watched he quickly concealed a set of Bluetooth Speakers into his jacket and fled the store.

The investigation is ongoing, in an attempt to identify the suspect. 

The suspect is described as;

  • Male, white (20-25 yrs.)
  • 180 lbs. , 5’10”
  • Short brown hair
  • Brown goatee
  • Wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans, and dark shoes and carrying a grey jacket.
