On Friday, February 10, ground and aerial searches for Mandy Thompson continued with the combined resources of the Barrie Police Service and the Ontario Provincial Police.
Approximately 200 vehicles were canvassed on Penetanguishene Road between the hours of 9 to 11:30 a.m. in efforts to obtain any further information on Mandy.
The investigation continues to be treated as a missing person’s investigation and following an organized seven day ground and air search, the search will now take a different direction.
Assigned investigators with the Barrie Police Investigative Services Unit will continue to follow up with any further tips. Upon receiving any additional leads the Barrie Police will commence searches utilizing the required resources.
