Police find large quantity of marijuana and cash in Bradford home

On Wednesday, June 21, 2017, investigators from the South Simcoe Police Service Street Crime Unit and Uniform Patrol were successful in executing a drug search warrant in Bradford.

Officers had previously arrested a 19-year-old Bradford man, resulting in the seizure of a large quantity of marijuana from his car. As a result, officers were able to obtain a search warrant for the man's home.

At the home, significant amounts of marijuana and cash were seized. The man is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking. 

He will appear in court in July.
