South Simcoe Police are appealing for witnesses to a road rage incident that sent one man to hospital with serious injuries.
It happened around 7:20 a.m. at the intersection of the 9th Line, east of the the 5th Side Road in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury.
Police say the incident began when one driver cut the other one off.
There was no physical altercation between the two men, according to South Simcoe Police Staff Sgt. Steve Wilson.
Ornge Air Ambulance was called to transport the injured man to a Toronto hospital.
Officers want to speak with witnesses to confirm exactly what happened including reports one man may have climbed onto the hood of the other's pickup truck.
"But it's only one of many possibilities at this time," said Wilson, who urged drivers to be patient on the road.
"It's that simple. Be respectful of each other," he said.

BRADFORD - On Friday, Sept. 22, 2017, around 7:20 a.m., South Simcoe Police were called to the intersection of the 9th Line, east of the the 5th Side Road in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury, regarding a road rage incident.
Investigators are in the initial stages of their investigation, but can confirm two drivers got into an altercation. One of the drivers was injured and has been transported to a hospital with unknown injuries.
Officers from the Criminal Investigation Bureau and Traffic and Marine Unit are in the initial stages of their investigation to determine what happened.
