Police look to identify driver following collision

Barrie Police Service is looking for the public's assistance at identifying a male suspect and locating a vehicle responsible for a fail to remain collision.

On Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017 at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Shadowood Road, in the City of Barrie, multiple people witnessed a collision between the suspect vehicle and a parked car. After colliding with the unoccupied parked car in the apartment complex, the male exited his vehicle to assess the damage to both cars. He immediately left the area making no attempt to determine the owner of the damaged vehicle.

Suspect Description:

  • Male, white
  • Approximately 6', thin build
  • Brown, brush cut hair
  • Wearing a green shirt and jeans

Suspect Vehicle:

  • White Chrysler 200
  • Red and yellow items hanging from rear view mirror
