The Barrie Police Investigative Services is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect following a robbery.
On Saturday, June 10, at 3:50 a.m., police were called to Mac’s Convenience, located at 221 Ferndale Dr. S., in the City of Barrie for a report of a robbery. A male suspect had entered the store armed with a knife and demanded money.
The employee complied and the suspect was given a quantity of cash, which he placed into a black bag he had been carrying and fled the area on foot. The victim did not sustain any physical injuries.
The investigation is ongoing, and at this time police cannot confirm if the robbery earlier that morning at Mac's Convenience, located 181 Livingstone St. E., is related. Click here for details.
The suspect is described as:
- Male, white
- Medium build
- Armed with a knife
- Wearing a black cloth to cover his face, wearing all black clothing and carrying a black bag.
