City police are currently searching for the vehicle and its driver after several hit-and-runs were reported in the last few hours in Barrie.
BarrieToday received a message from a reader who said a erratic vehicle had caused crashes on Ferndale Drive, Cedar Pointe Drive and Hart Drive.
Barrie police communications co-ordinator Peter Leon says the investigation is ongoing this afternoon.
“It appears we do have a number of failed-to-remains that are currently on the go,” Leon told BarrieToday. “It appears they do involve the same vehicle and all in the same part of town that you mentioned.”
As of 2:45 p.m., Dec. 6, Leon said the suspect vehicle had not been located.
The vehicle is a silver, four-door hatchback.
