Police seek assistance in locating suspect in credit card theft

Barrie Police Service is looking for the public's assistance in identifying a male wanted for a theft and use of a stolen credit card.

On Tuesday, July 25, 2017 officers attended a residence on Napier Street in the City of Barrie in regards to a theft from a vehicle overnight. The victim reports her vehicle was entered sometime through the night and various credit and debit cards were stolen.  

When bank records were reviewed, it was determined the VISA was used at three different locations within walking distance of each other between 5:10 a.m. and 5:23 a.m. 

Suspect is described as:

  • Male, white 
  • Medium build
  • Approximately 30-years-old
  • Wearing white t-shirt and grey full sleeve shirt
