Barrie police hope local residents can help in their search for a man involved in a “suspicious incident” on Wednesday evening after he was spotted masturbating in his vehicle.
On June 19, police received information about an incident involving a man who was seated in a car while parked at 30 North Village Way, located at Park Place, near Mapleview Drive East and Bayview Drive in the city's south end.
From the investigation that followed, police learned the incident happened near the Winner’s store at approximately 8 p.m.
Police say the man was wearing blue clothing, had short hair and a scruffy beard.
The vehicle he was in is described as an older four-door grey sedan, which appeared to be full of personal belongings.
Police are seeking assistance from the public. Anyone who was in the area of the store and may have dash-camera video to contact the investigating officer at [email protected].
