Police seek to identify three suspects in theft at Cabela's

The Barrie Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify three suspects following a theft at Cabela’s, located at 50 Concert Way, in the City of Barrie.

On Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2017, three suspects had entered Cabela’s and were captured on video surveillance stealing electric dog training collars. A woman had been observed concealing eight electric dog collars underneath her shirt, with the assistance of two males that had been with her. All three suspects fled the store undetected and were last seen leaving the area on foot.

The investigation is ongoing.

The suspects are described as;

Suspect # 1

  • Male, white
  • Medium build, 6"0'
  • Wearing an orange baseball cap, grey t-shirt, blue jeans and white shoes.

Suspect # 2

  • Female, described as South or Middle East West Asian
  • Thin build, 5”8’
  • Brown hair pulled back into a ponytail
  • Wearing a black t-shirt and pants and a light colored scarf draped over top.

Suspect # 3

  • Male, white
  • Heavy build, 5"11'
  • Wearing a dark blue baseball hat, blue t-shirt, dark shorts and running shoes.
