INNISFIL - On Sunday, June 18, 2017, around 10:15 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers were dispatched to a single motor vehicle roll over on Yonge Street, just north of Line 2, Innisfil.

When officers arrived on scene, they were met by a witness who said he spoke to a woman who was outside of the vehicle. She told him she was the only occupant, but then she met up with a man and a small child and they walked into a farm field and disappeared from view.

Investigators are concerned that the people involved, including the child, may be injured and require medical attention.

Officers were unable to locate any of the occupants, but gathered evidence at the scene to identify them.

A short time later, police received a report of the theft of a pickup truck from a nearby farm. That vehicle was recovered in Bradford early Monday morning.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information about this incident is asked to call South Simcoe Police Service at 705-436-2141 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
