TAY TOWNSHIP - On June 6, 2017 at approximately 1:16 p.m., members of the Southern Georgian Bay Community Street Crime Unit in conjunction with the OPP Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), Central Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), and Central Region Canine executed a warrant at an apartment on Talbot Street in Tay Township, Ont.
During the execution of the search warrant, police located and seized cannabis marijuana and cannabis resin.
Tinesha Lee Esterbrooks (age 27) and Tyler Robert Yule (age 26) both of Tay Township have been charged with:
- Produce a Schedule II Substance - Cannabis marijuana contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act
- Possession of a Schedule II Substance - Cannabis marijuana - Over 30 grams contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substance Act
- Possession of a Schedule II Substance - Cannabis resin - Over 1 gram contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substance act
The two accused are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on June 29, 2017 in Midland, Ont.
