Stolen puppy found safe, kittens still missing, says pet store (update)

The tiny animals were taken in a bizarre break and enter Sunday

On Monday night Investigators received numerous tips which led to the recovery of the nine-week-old Cockapoo in the Town of Innisfil.

Investigators have not located the kittens and it is believed they may have been given to residents who reside on Jans Boulevard in the Town of Innisfil. Anyone who may be in possession of a kitten is asked to contact police or Doogans Pet Emporium, as the kittens require further vaccinations that are imperative to their health.

The missing kittens are described as:
    •    Black (2)
    •    Grey (1)
    •    Beige (1) 

Investigators are still seeking the suspect responsible for the break and enter, and theft. He is described as:
    •    Male, white (25-30 yrs)
    •    Thin build
    •    Dark beard (chin strap style)
    •    Wearing a dark pompom toque with a white stripe, light coloured long sleeve shirt, capris and dark shoes

Doogan's Pet Centre, in a post to Facebook, says a red-haired Cockapoo stolen in a break and enter early Sunday morning has been recovered and is "at home safe with staff."

The nine-week-old puppy and four eight-week-old kittens were taken in a bizarre incident caught on security cameras.

Police are looking for a bearded suspect who was wearing a pompom toque and capri pants. 

The kittens are still missing and police have said the animals have only had their first round of vaccinations and require ongoing care, as they are susceptible to dehydration and digestion complications.
