Vehicle locked on radar 55km/h over posted limit

By way of moving radar, the speed was confirmed to be 105 km/h in the posted 50 km/h community safety zone

BRADFORD - On Monday, March 26, 2018 at 7:45 a.m. on County Rd. 88 in Bond Head, a South Simcoe Police Service officer was conducting moving radar speed enforcement and observed a lone motor vehicle travelling at a noticeably high rate of speed. 

By way of moving radar, the speed was confirmed to be 105 km/h in the posted 50 km/h community safety zone.  The driver was a 19-year-old man who had recently moved from Nova Scotia to Ontario (Bradford). 

His mother's vehicle was towed and seized for seven days and his licence was suspended for seven days. He has a court appearance in May.
