I first met Geoff while windsurfing at Minet's Point, sometime in the 90's. It was a fast day and he said, "you're ready for a harness". I watched him head back out, catching a wave now and then and launching high into the air time after time, flawless perfection of man and board together as one, willing the rig to do anything he wished! I took Geoff's advice and bought some newer gear at Tropical North - he was right! I caught air a few times myself (launched!) but never came close to the perfection I saw in Geoff's command of the sport. I imagine the same was evident on a ski hill, or any other sport he put his heart and soul into...humbling. Geoff was a very admirable person, one I wished I'd spent more time with. My sincerest condolences to all of Geoff's family. May you be surrounded with peace and love at this sad time. RIP Geoff
