I want to say sorry for your loss to his family. I am Brenda Fairhall nee Bowdery and had Mr Whetham for Grade 10 Math at Barrie North Collegiate in Barrie. I remember this act of kindness like it was yesterday, I am 62 now, I was not feeling well in his class and he took off his suit jacket and gave it to be to warm me up. Such a gentleman.
