@newiseowl. You missed the point. But carry on as you will.

I saw a cyber truck on McNabb last week. My initial reaction was laughter. Then, I thought, what an unenvious position that driver was in.

I am disappointed in people who are anti-vaxers when the dangers of these viruses are so clear. Being anti can be a mindset. Shake it off. Look what's happened to the Americans.

Krusto, there's no need to descend into an American mindset. Be prepared to defend your beliefs.

Da Prat has an interesting point about NORAD. This should be repeated by our mainstream media.

I agree Soojavu. IMO, the source of the threat to American democracy is the huge amount of money in politics. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but Canadian corporations and unions cannot make political contributions and individuals are capped at $1750 in 2025.

Normally, good advice. But these are orange times.

@Lizzy M. In the worst case scenario, Trump would send troops to secure the electrical supply, and he would get what he wanted. But if his troops "lingered" they would be met with guerilla war from Canadians.

I agree with much of Ford is doing but he needs to shut up about cutting off electricity to some states. That would be a direct threat to U.S. security and could spark an actual military action.

I understand that political discourse can get hot. We all have opinions and want our points out there. However, there is some blatant disinformation, on all sides, that SooToday should stop.
For example, if someone calls either Carney or Pollievre a liar or non-Canadian or even something whackier then the accuser should be compelled to backup their opinion with FACT before it is published. It's simple to do and enforce. We might get some honest discussion.
SooToday moderators should moderate.
