BarrieToday welcomes letters to the editor at [email protected] or via the website. Please include your full name, daytime phone number and address (for verification of authorship, not publication). The following is in response to an article titled ''Enough is enough': Innisfil councillor, restaurateur upset by latest Lockhart closure,' published Nov. 8.

I was “raised“ in Innisfil since the 1950s and grew to love this town. Over time, I have built three homes here and expected to remain until it was no longer possible.

Regrettably, I left my beloved town a short while ago as I read the writing on the wall.

This town is gone and what is left is nothing but an expensive suburb.

I have fought the fools in city hall for years, but alas, they are indifferent.

To those of you that are concerned with the way things are going — get out now!

RIP, Innisfil.
