The following letter is in response to a story titled 'Springwater urges county to repeal 'incredibly out of touch' pay hike,' published Nov. 22.
If councillors are looking for a substantial pay hike mid-term, make sure you take their names and ensure you speak loudly come next election and make damn sure their greed is defeated from ever holding a political position again.
Talk about ‘entitled.’
It wouldn’t hurt to pass a bylaw that there will be no raises arbitrarily given mid-term, period.
