COUNTY OF SIMCOE

The holiday spirit is in full swing as the County of Simcoe Paramedic Services Food and Toy Drive continues.
So far, we’ve collected 1,194 toys, 299 pounds of food and $1,181.45 in cash and gift cards.
The community’s generosity will help to brighten the holidays for children and families in need across Simcoe County. Monetary donations, along with new, unwrapped toys and food, are being accepted at various locations across Simcoe County. Visit simcoe.ca/toydrive to learn more.
Over the next week, paramedics will be collecting donations at the following locations:
Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024
- Barrie North Walmart — 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Barrie South Walmart — 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Barrie North Toys “R” Us — 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Bradford Walmart — 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Midland Civitan Club Santa Claus Parade — 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Craighurst Foodland — 12 to 4 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 1, 2024
- Barrie North Walmart — 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Barrie South Walmart — 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Barrie North Toys “R” Us — 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Lisle Santa Claus Parade — 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 5, 2024
- Stayner Tree Lighting Ceremony — 5 to 7 p.m.
Donations can be also made at the County of Simcoe Administration Centre, 1110 Highway 26 in Midhurst, and at all County of Simcoe Paramedic Services stations, where outdoor drop boxes are now available. (Please do not leave monetary donations in drop boxes — only non-perishable food items and new, unwrapped toys.)
