Finalists unveiled for upcoming Barrie Business Awards

'It's a lot of work, but I can say that everyone from the chamber office and the businesses are happy to get back to the event,' says official ahead of Nov. 29 gala

The finalists were revealed Monday afternoon for the Barrie Business Awards, which will be returning in person for the first since 2019.

The Barrie Chamber of Commerce and the City of Barrie unveiled the finalists for the 2022 awards today at the chamber offices in the south end. The award winners will be announced at a gala event on Tuesday, Nov. 29. 

“It's a lot of work, but I can say that everyone from the chamber office and the businesses are happy to get back to the event,” chamber executive director Paul Markle told BarrieToday. “It's always a great gathering and we’ll have about 300 people in attendance.”

The awards will take place at Liberty North on Caplan Avenue.
