Lane closures along Blake Street in Barrie's east end have been extended until Friday, Dec. 22.
Green Infrastructure Partners (GIP), along with its sub-contractors and the City of Barrie, will be initiating daily single-lane closures on Blake Street in the Steel Street area.
These lane closures will be in place until Dec. 22 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
To ensure smooth traffic flow, flaggers will be present on-site for traffic control.
The city says these measures are essential to support construction associated with its road resurfacing program.
Timing is also subject to weather conditions.
