What's your favourite poutine?

Is it the traditional french fries, cheese curds and gravy?

Want to add a little ground beef and bacon?

Whole lot of bacon?

Whatever your taste you can enjoy some at Barrie's Smokes Poutinerie and donate to a good cause at the same time.

Franchisee Shannon McGuinness took the business over from her father and brother, last year, and is now marking the fifth anniversary.

"I lost my dad to cancer in 2014 and I just felt like I wanted to do something and do what we can to give back. So, for every fifth poutine sold that day we'll donate $5 to the Canadian Cancer Society. In my head I have a goal for $500 but I hope it can be even more."

The anniversary celebration at the Dunlop Street West store is May 26.
