Weather permitting, aerial search to commence Friday

Update: Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017 - 7:53 p.m.

Today the Barrie Police Service and the Ontario Provincial Police continued the search for Mandy Thompson in the northeast end of Barrie encompassing the areas of Oro-Medonte east of Penetanguishene Road.   

On Friday, Feb. 10, search teams will resume their ground search and, if weather permits, aerial searches will commence. The driver of a black truck towing a vehicle on Penetanguishene Road, near Napoleon Home Comfort was captured on video surveillance on Friday, Feb. 3, 10:59 a.m. Police are requesting the driver of that vehicle to contact Investigators as they could have information that may assist in locating Mandy.
