What police are calling a death investigation has resulted in the closure of Highway 400 northbound near Highway 88 just west of Bradford.
Both northbound lanes as well as the northbound on-ramp were closed at around 7:30 p.m.
A number of police cars and officers were at the scene and appeared to be searching the area on foot, where two compact cars sat stopped on the highway.
The Aurora OPP said traffic was being rerouted as police tried to determine whether or not the death is medically related "as the cause is unclear", according to a Tweet from the Ontario Highway Traffic Safety Division.
