Collingwood's former deputy mayor facing sex-related charges

Tim McNabb, 58, a former Collingwood councillor and deputy mayor, is facing multiple sex-related charges.

A former town councillor and deputy mayor in Collingwood, who held those positions in the 1990s and early 2000s, is facing multiple sex-related charges. 

Tim McNabb, 58, has been charged with three counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual exploitation and two counts of sexual interference. 

Collingwood OPP confirmed the charges were laid June 4. 

There is a publication ban in place.

None of the allegations have been proven in court. 

McNabb spent 16 years on Collingwood council, 10 as a councillor between 1991 and 1997 as well as from 2006 to 2010, and six years as deputy mayor between 1997 and 2003. 

McNabb also applied for the vacant council position following former councillor Tina Comi's resignation in 2022, but he was not chosen to fill the empty council seat.
