A motorcyclist was killed in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday evening on Ferndale Drive near the city landfill, according to Barrie police.
Police responded to the call at 6:10 p.m. on June 12.
Ferndale Drive is closed between Edgehill Drive and Benson Drive for an indefinite period of time, police say.
The City of Barrie has posted barricades at the road closures.
