Barrie police are investigating after a Honda Civic was stolen from the driveway of a College Crescent home in the city's north end sometime overnight Monday.
Police say the theft was reported shortly after noon on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
During the investigation, police say officers learned the black 2021 four-door Honda Civic, with Ontario licence plate DCLB252, was taken sometime between 9 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 4 and 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
"There was no broken glass located where the car had been parked and the owner was in possession of both key fobs," police stated in a news release.
A canvass of the immediate area failed to turn up any nearby homes with video surveillance, police say.
Anyone with information about the vehicle's whereabouts, or if it is seen abandoned, is asked to contract Barrie police at 705-725-7025.
If found, police ask that the vehicle is not touched or approached.
