A section of Highway 26/Bayfield Street was closed early this morning in north-end Barrie.
Huronia West OPP say the road was closed from Hanmer Street East in Barrie to Carson Road in Springwater Township due to an unspecified police investigation.
OPP officers had been on scene beginning around 3:30 a.m., however no other information has been released.
Shortly before 10 a.m., police said officers were clearing the scene and the road was set to reopen.
